This paper designed a border security system which is easier to be installed and a lower cost with the ZigBee technology. The ZigBee nodes with the vibration sensor and the CMOS sensor are implemented by the MCU of cc2530, and the image data is passed through the ZigBee network to the ARM computer with Android operating system. With the help of the 3G module on the Android computer, the image data can be uploaded to the remote server. the PC client will monitor the image data change in server constantly. The implementation of the hardware and the software in this system are introduced detail in this paper. The system test in the end of the paper shows that this ZigBee security system with CMOS sensors can meet the need of the border security system.
