Flight test have special needs for testing avionics AFDX network delay. Without affecting the original transmission structure of avionics system, the exact moment of the communication message is tested which send from avionics system. According to the characteristics of bus test, this paper presents a method for testing avionics FC network delay generated by the collection, to solve the problem of latency test. This method is applied in a aircraft delay test, which improved the experimental accuracy of a avionics system, and demonstrated the effectiveness of this method in engineering.
