In order to solve the problems of not full load power generation for Inner Mongolia Zhun Da power plants in summer, a method was presented to use spray nozzles to form fog in around the radiator to reduce environment temperature of the radiator, increase heat exchange rate, reduce coal consumption, increase output and achieve full load power generation. In order to better control the atomizing effect, spray cooling control system was designed with PLC for main controller, ultrasonic liquid level sensor for feedback device and electricity-controlled ratio valve for actuator to achieve liquid level control for large container. The system has functions of bypass regulation and quick break protection for the pump. The running result of system shows that better atomizing effect effectively improve the power generation benefit of power plant.
